Map for Android Apps: Wikipedia Beta App Gets Drastic Design Change

Hello readers, here I am with another post on Map for Android Apps. In this post I’ll be covering the new Beta version of Wikipedia App for Android devices. It was quite late that the official Wikipedia app came in Google Play store. Users had to wait until the January of 2012, when the app finally became available for Android users. But it didn’t impress many of the users because it lacked features. However a good thing is that the app is finally starting to show its age now. Recent enough a new version of the app packed in Beta version got released.Wiki

This new Wikipedia Beta, has gone all the way native, offering a user interface which looks much better than anything released since Ice Cream Sandwich (older OS of Android). The change is not just in the UI, but also in speed. Now the app is faster, easier to operate and quick in searching terms etc. The interface is also clean, giving better reading experience. Plus there is also an addition of a new feature which lets you view the history of recently viewed articles in the app. In addition to all, now the app also lets you edit the articles, without the need of sitting down in front of a PC.

This beta app is available for all and can be downloaded from Google Play Store. Simply download the new improved app and use it to learn something new and informative.
